The Cape Fear Roller Girls and Cape Fear Black Harrts host the Gem City Roller Girls and Myrtle Beach's Palmetto State Rollergirls in the last home doubleheader of the 2011 season! The battle takes place at the CFCC Schwartz Center in downtown Wilmington NC. Doors open at 5pm with CFRG All Stars battling Gem City at 6pm. The Black Harrts will face-off against PSRG at 8pm.

Help us brighten Christmas for local children. CFRGs are helping the NHC Chapter of Toys for Tots in collecting NEW, UNWRAPPED toys. We will have donation stations at Scooters Skating Rink on Shipyard Blvd and at Jellybeans Skating Rink on Oleander Drive.
You can also bring a toy to recieve $2 off of the door price at either or both of our December bouts.

Cape Fear Roller Girls become WFTDA Apprentices!!
Since the Cape Fear Roller Girls were developed in July of 2006, the league has shown vast amounts of progress and met numerous goals. One of the biggest goals for this league is to become a WFTDA member. The CFRG's just took their biggest step toard reaching this goal and have been accepted into the WFTDA Apprentice Program as of July 2010!
WFTDA, which stands for Women's Flat Track Derby Association, is an organization what will benefit this league in countless ways. Once the CFRG's complete their apprentice program and become full members, they will benefit from the following: opportunities for WFTDA tournament play, participation in rankings, power in numbers, an easy way to find resources, chance to help safeguard the future of the sport, structure with flexibility, among many other benefits.
Your Cape Fear Roller Girls now have the opportunity to become nationally recognized and play against some of the best leagues in the nation. On November 13th, 2010 the Cape Fear Roller Girls will host our first official Regulation bout against the Carolina Roller Girls (ranked #7 in the east national rankings) at the Schwartz Center. This is sure to be the most difficult match of the season and a true test to Cape Fear Roller Girls WFTDA Apprenticeship.
