About Our League

The Cape Fear Roller Girls pride themselves on being a skater owned and operated non-profit organization, built “for the skaters-by the skaters”.

CFRG is dedicated to the development of amateur athletes, encouraging the physical, mental, and emotional training needed while respecting and valuing the individual strengths each member contributes. All of our skaters are dedicated to community development and are actively involved in improving the areas in which we live.

Our skaters and volunteers are unflagging in their efforts on and off the track to develop and maintain a positive, supportive league and community, giving both money and time to other non-profits. We are proud to represent Wilmington, at home and on the road, competing in this empowering sport.

It's not cheap to operate a roller derby league, and our girls aren't paid. In fact, our skaters pay to help keep our league going. If you want to learn more about helping sponsor CFRG to help keep us playing, click the button below. Read More
